Cooley LLP, (“Cooley”) is looking for Chinese law students to join our Beijing office as Legal Consultants.

About the Legal Intern/Legal Consultant Position

We are seeking a legal intern to join the funds group of our Beijing office in August. The successful intern will be offered a full time position of “Legal Consultant” with a contract of two years. Candidates may apply for the full position directly.

During the period, you will work closely with associates and partners on transactions. Regular tasks include:

• Conducting legal research and preparing memos;

• Conducting documents reviews;

• Handling transaction closings;

• Drafting legal documents;

• Participating in client meetings;

• Tracking legal developments and preparing client alerts.

Qualifications:

• GPA: top 25%

• Highly proficient in English

• Strong legal research skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Hardworking and attention to details

• Willing to commit two years to Beijing office
